Boycotting NDTV & Barkha Dutt for a month

We all know what NDTV & Barkha Dutt did. They have no right to take away our right to free speech. If calling Barkha a shoddy journalist was a crime, what about when Barkha Dutt calls Narendra Modi a mass murderer in Hindustan Times, when he is legally not convicted. I am not a fan of Modi, in fact I hate the dude for what crap he did.

But, if Modi wanted he could have gone to court and NDTV & Barkha would have cried foul. How is it that NDTV & Barkha have more rights than you or me.

We need to make a point, make our voices heard which is why I believe that we hurt them where it hurts the most – their TRPs. Which is why I am proposing that we boycott NDTV & Barkha Dutt for a month starting from February 14 2009 to March 13 2009. Why February 14, because its Valentine’s Day so let us show how much we love our free speech.

I created a facebook group for those willing to join me in this effort to teach NDTV & Barkha Dutt, the true meaning of free speech, please join here. Also, the related event is here.

Free speech is our birth right, come let’s protect it!
